Main Mission
Attached to the BU Sales VP, the Service Sales Manager is accountable to drive growth of the sales of CAMECA services worldwide. The Service Sales Manager leads and deploys the commercial strategy for the service to cover market potential and achieve assigned commercial and financial goals.
Main Responsabilities
You are accountable for:
• Leading the service sales activities in order to meet commercial and financial targets with a strong focus on growing the sales volume (top line) and controlling margins (discount control)
• Defining Service sales strategies and tactics for all services products: maintenance contracts, on demand services, parts and “small” upgrades.
• Defining and implementing a unified approach and organization of services sales worldwide
• Defining Pricing and Payment Terms, and applying and defending Terms and Conditions of Service Sales in the selected markets.
• Assisting field service sales teams in driving sales opportunities, negotiating and closing deals,
• Working in close collaboration with the service Sales Teams worldwide to develop the service sales through targeted prospection
• Providing sales and services management with all relevant and necessary information and reporting to allow accurate and timely forecasting of order intake and revenue.
• Channelling and prioritizing customer non-standard requests (FRO process) for upgrades, as well as pricing them.
You are also:
• Working in close collaboration with the Instruments Sales Team (Product Sales Leaders) to maximize sale of services as part of instruments sales
• Whenever appropriate, assisting other departments (Operations, finance, supply chain..).
Additional tasks for EMEA service sales Manager
- Responsible for directly selling services in EMEA (excluding DACH) : directly manage quotations, negotiations and closing of the deals for the CAMECA Gennevilliers direct customers.
Education & Experience
• MSc or equivalent,
• A minimum of 5 years, proven and successful experience in the sales of services in a high technology, large equipment domain
• International business experience required
• Background in Laboratory equipment sales and services, preferably in the Surface Analysis or Material Sciences, with understanding of the research markets.
• Mastery and fluency in oral and written English
