PRODUCT MANAGER AQUACULTURE

Reporting to the BernAqua General Manager, the Product Manager, your main missions will be to :

Assist the Product Management Director in the strategizing initiatives

Conduct market analysis to identify the evolution of market needs, competition, within the target applications
Keep abreast of technological evolution within the target applications
Translate the two into market access and product innovation strategies

Assist the Product Management Director in building the marketing tools

Develop content for marketing documents ( brochures, web site, science editorials, conference presentations), related to the specific scope that he/she covers, based on the scientific information provide by R&D, literature & own technical activities deployed with customers
Collaborate with the marketing team ( YOAV) to optimize these tools

Project management

Ascertain a proper management of the innovation projects in the pipe ( define project scope, justification, set up project teams, follow up and report project progress) for which he/she takes the lead

Assist the Product Management Director in Product Portfolio Management

Analyse the product portfolio within his/her specific scope on business relevance and define appropriate actions to modify the status & support of the products ( e.g. increase commercial effort, improve the positioning, change the product specification, kill the products )

Coordinate problem solving actions

Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales to find the best solution to the problems that occur

The Scope of this function is worldwide.

Interactions are with other FA&I teams as well as with Animal Nutrition, with the broad R&D community and with Operations in various ADM entities across the globe as well as with upper management of ADM.

Profile :

Required degree : scientific ( biology , bioengineer ) with specialization in Aquatic nutrition.

Experience : 2-5 years of professional experience in Sales, Technical Service or Product Management of Probiotics and Additives for bioremediation or gut-intestinal health to Aqua Feed and Aqua Culture customers.

Experience in the field ( hatcheries, grow out ) is a benefit.
