We have two exciting opportunities for a Sales Account Representative, one in North France & Paris and one in South France, both are within the Toxicology division in France.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The overall goals of a Sales Account Representative is
to efficiently promote and sell the Toxicology organization's products and services to both public and private customers
to meet or exceed sales revenue targets on an assigned geography.
Main expectation as Sales Account Representative is to pursue sales leads, maintain installed base (Laboratories, Governmental administration, workplace…), regularly visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs, suggest appropriate solutions (products and/or services) and close deals to achieve revenue goals target on an assigned territory.
The role requires to:
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build long term trusting relationships that will generate future sales and continued revenue growth.
Provide answers to customer enquiries, efficiently close sales deals (confirmed orders) with support of sales management where required (complexity of sales deals).
Provide any information to management such as customer feedback, information on competitors and evolution of the market segments, issues on products so that the commercial strategy is maintained in alignment with customers and market’s needs.
Build the territory’s annual sales plans that shall be controlled on a monthly and on a quarterly basis.
Has the experience and capacity to prioritize and schedule own activities so these sales targets are met.
Efficiently close deals and over achieve revenue goals.
Frequent national travel (up to 80% of time) is anticipated. Ideally positions will be based in Paris & suburbs (North France) and Lyon and Marseille (South France). Occasionally, travel to Italy or Spain for meetings or back up on application activities.
Sales activities:
Sell products on different market segments, to different types of customers (public and private sectors) and environment (clinical or non-clinical) ...,
Development of markets and customers, achieving sales targets, providing general customer service in the various areas of responsibility
Robust commercial Experience to develop and execute of the full Toxicology product portfolio
Build annual sales plan aligned with the strategy set locally by the commercial management. Deploy it successfully to achieve its sales objectives.
Prospects, tracks and develops customers’ accounts on the assigned territory. Develops and maintains turnover in its territory.
Is accountable on any customers’ needs and problems. Lead actions to respond and resolve them,
Is a learner, maintaining the expected level of knowledge on Toxicology products and technologies
Participates on congresses & events
Communicate to commercial management any information about competition, detection of new opportunities and new markets
Ensures regular reporting to Commercial management, and contributes to the reliability of sales forecasts (CRM or equivalent)
Ensure the Company image is preserved on its territory,
Collaborate with sales back office teams to ensure effective tenders, quotations and commercial contracts’ management
Closely monitor business progression and results, analyses and provide regular reports to commercial management (Business review)
Application activities
Conduct presales and post sales demonstrations to our customers in many non-clinical areas (Laboratories, physicians, all type of end users), mainly on deals that would represent a clear value-added to revenue growth
Regularly contribute to the Installation of instruments and / or reagents to customers. Also act as a trainer to train the end users
May be responsible for reagents’ settings and instrument software’ releases. And ensure record keeping to resolve any issues that may impact customer’s satisfaction (liaison with the Company technical & scientific Toxicology team and quality team)
Provide any useful feedback on the tests to commercial management
Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Master Degree or equivalent in Biological/ chemistry and/or Biochemistry Sciences and in sales Business
Proven experience of the Toxicology industry with 4 years ‘minimum of experience in Sales Representative.
Familiarity with diagnostic industry practices and especially with markets relevant to products’ lines.
Thorough knowledge of healthcare industry, public and private healthcare providers (laboratories, hospital…). Especially on toxicology.
Demonstrable track record in negotiation success and in following up with contracts’ signature procedure
Ability to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practices
Ability to manage complex sales opportunities, efficiently using sales tools applied in the company and to work with a project management mode
Proficiency using Microsoft Office pack (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and others such as CRM systems
